Service Description
Small group lesson for people with their own dogs. Dog must understand the concept of staying up front and you both have already been enjoying harness activities like Canicross, Kicksledding/Dogsledding, Skijoring, Bikejoring etc. Have you been skijoring with your dog and would like to try Kicksledding? Have you been doing Canicross and now would like to try Skijoring/Kicksledding/Dogsledding? You have been doing winter harness activities with your dog but would like some help/learn more? This is the group for you. Includes gear (if needed) and a trail ride. 1-2 dogs per participant. For more than 2 dogs please book an individual lesson. We welcome young participants (12+ years old), with their parents consent. Every participant is responsible for their own dog and must keep them leashed at all times. Skiers must provide their own poles, skis and boots and have basic cross country skiing knowledge. Location: Yellowknife, NT (exact location will be shared a few days prior to the lesson once trail conditions are known.)
Cancellation Policy
-This fee is non refundable, however if Northbound Huskies has to cancel at any time, we offer to reschedule or issue a full refund. -If you need to reschedule or won't be able to attend please email us at info@northboundhuskies.com. While we try to do our best, we cannot guarantee availability. -We reserve the right to prohibit anyone from participating in a lesson if they have been consuming alcohol or cannabis prior or/and during the lesson. No refunds will be issued. -We do NOT provide outdoor gear. Please dress for the weather, in layers, as we will outside the entire lesson. -We do not tolerate disrespectful behaviour -Dogs have to be leashed at all times, and only interact with other dogs with the permission of their owner. -This session will get postponed if the group numbers are too low. -Aggressive behaviour towards other dogs and participants will not be tolerated.
