Private Skijoring lesson

Service Description

**For skiers only!!** Make your dog part of your favourite winter activity and learn to work as a team! We will help you get started by teaching you the basics from proper gear to nutrition and training methods. We will be doing a trail ride on a groomed trail, the distance will depend on the participant and the dogs abilities and experience. Pairing your dog with one of our experienced pullers is an option but will depend on the participant and their dog. Skier must have their own skis/poles/boots and be comfortable on skis with basic knowledge of cross country skiing. Belts/Lines/Harnesses are available for rent. Duration: 1.5-2hrs -2 dogs max per skier. This is an outdoor lesson and it's the participants responsibility to dress themselves and their dog (if needed) for the weather. We do not offer this lesson for children under 12. Children aged 12-17 years old need parent permission and be capable of handling their dog on their own. *Those who attend our Introduction lessons will receive a $30 discount code towards a private lesson. **If you are not a skier but your goal is to skijor with your dog, email us for options or sign up for an Introduction lesson.

Cancellation Policy

-In order to receive a full refund, cancellations need to be made more than 14 days prior. If for any reason you need to cancel less than 14 days prior to your reserved date, there will be no refund. -If Northbound Huskies needs to cancel at any time due to unsafe conditions we offer to reschedule or issue a full refund. -We reserve the right to prohibit anyone from participating on a tour/lesson if they have been consuming alcohol or cannabis prior to a tour or lesson. No refunds will be issued. -We do NOT provide outdoor gear. Please dress for the weather, in layers, as we will be moving a lot but also standing for the introduction part.
