Service Description
Join our small group session designed to help you get started with Canicross and learn everything you need to begin confidently. Your dog doesn't need to be a strong puller, super social, or even experienced—this is for all kinds of dogs and people, and you don’t need to be a runner to participate. Canicross is a fun and accessible activity for all fitness levels and breeds. We're here to help you and your dog start off on the right foot (and paw!). You'll get the chance to try different gear, explore training techniques, and get a brief introduction to related activities like biking with dogs, kicksledding, and skijoring. Rental equipment is included, and the session will conclude with a guided group walk to apply the techniques and gear introduced. Email us with questions at info@northboundhuskies.com Time: 10:00AM - 1:00PM Location: Nipissing, ON (exact address will be emailed once registered) Cost: $70 per participant + 1 dog (if you have more than 1 dog please email us for options) We welcome young participants (12+ years old), with their parents consent. Every participant is responsible for their own dog and must keep them leashed at all times.
Cancellation Policy
-This fee is non refundable, however if Northbound Huskies has to cancel at any time, we offer to reschedule or issue a full refund. -If you won't be able to attend please email us at info@northboundhuskies.com. -We reserve the right to prohibit anyone from participating in a lesson if they have been consuming alcohol or cannabis prior or/and during the lesson. No refunds will be issued. -We do NOT provide outdoor gear. Please dress for the weather, in layers, as we will outside the entire lesson. -We do not tolerate disrespectful behaviour -Dogs have to be leashed at all times, and only interact with other dogs with the permission of their owner. -Aggressive behaviour towards other dogs and participants will not be tolerated. -Dog and human have to be in physical good health to be able to do a short walk. -Incase of an extreme weather warning issued by Environment Canada or unsafe road conditions, this event will get rescheduled with sometimes little notice. -For this lesson dogs have to be 12+ months old. Contact us if you have a younger dog for a private introduction.
